Copex Digi is an AGFA high-resolution microfilm
for use in Kodak archive writers

Application

Copex Digi helps to protect critical business records from losses by rendering a trustworthy copy of an electronic record. This record can be then be used for internal purposes, to satisfy litigation, to meet regulatory and audit requirements and to reconstruct records if backup tapes, hardware and/or software become damaged or obsolete.

Of equal quality to similar film but typically less expensive, Copix Digi helps to avoid much of the cost and hazard of digital-only records storage. It copies the records you wish to secure to an analog format on ISO-standard archival media. These non-volatile documents can be accessed electronically to authenticate current activities, such as an online transaction, or to support audit activities triggered by regulatory activities and legal actions.

Processing/Chemistry

Copex Digi film uses the same processing/chemistry as that included with all Kodak archive writers.

Storing and Archiving

Unexposed film can be kept for the length of time indicated on the packaging. Archival permanence is guaranteed provided the film is processed and stored in accordance with the relevant standards (ISO 5466-1986, AINSI PH1, 43-1985).
