Crowley Announces Placement, New Hires
Frederick, Maryland – Christopher Crowley, president of The Crowley Company, is pleased to announce the placement and hiring of three key personnel to the company’s imaging services and technical support divisions
Stuart Winsborough, a member of The Crowley Company since the firm’s acquisition of competitor Wicks & Wilson Limited (WWL) last year, has been named International Sales Manager. In this role, Winsborough will manage, cultivate and expand the reseller channels and international footprint for all Crowley-manufactured products. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Nottingham and was with WWL since 1996 in the positions of technical sales engineer, TriForm product manager and, most recently, worldwide sales and marketing manager. “Stuart’s exemplary technical and customer service knowledge, coupled with his experience in building market share in the Pacific Rim, Europe and beyond, makes him the natural candidate for this position,” states Crowley. Winsborough has recently moved from suburban London and will be working from both San Diego and San Dimas, CA locations between travels.
Ed Powers, of Ellicott City, MD, has been named a senior sales representative with Crowley Imaging, the firm’s conversion service bureau. Powers is responsible for the further development of business application imaging services, including healthcare, medical, legal and government document archiving, records management and storage. He brings more than 30 years of professional experience in sales, management, business development, micrographic conversion services and hardware. ”The opportunity to work with Crowley is exciting because it allows me to combine the various specialties of my career into one position,” notes Powers. Matthew McCabe, vice president of business development adds, “Crowley Imaging has long been known for its archival preservation expertise. Lesser known, but equally important, has been the tens of millions of document records we’ve scanned and implemented into client workflow systems. With the advent of Ed and our recent association with Digitech Systems, a premier ECM provider, this work area is poised for significant growth.”
Joining Crowley’s technical support team is Andrew Detwiler, of Thurmont, MD. Detwiler brings a decade of valuable education and experience in electronic repair and engineering to Crowley’s team of technicians. The technical support team is made up of specialists who are well-versed in multiple brand name equipment types and provide international support for on-site installation/system training, annual/periodic equipment inspections and maintenance, and emergency repair services.
